Positive feedback that isn't?

Someone has bid on an item I have for sale. She has 100% positive feedback but reading the feedback it certainly isn't. The majority of feedback has said that she doesn't pay however she has still been awarded positive feedback. How can this be?

because sellers can't leave negs for buyers any more

I would cancel her bid and add her to your blocked bidder list if I were you.

i would also cancel, you just don't need the hassle.

it drives me insane that sellers can't leave neg for buyers anymore. ebay reason that bad buyers will simply not get feedback and thus people will avoid them, but it just doesn't work like that.

Cancelled and blocked. Thank you very much for your help, I'm still a bit new at this!

Technically, positive feedback with negative comments is meant to be removed, but it's just as well it hasn't been in this case. Yes, it stops feedback extortion but it's irritating that sellers can't warn others about crap buyers.

I didn't know you could cancel someone's bid. How do you do this? Do they get a message to say they no longer have a bid on an item? Also am I right to assume you can't cancel after item has finished if you notice then that the winning bidder seems a bit of a nightmare?

I do know how to block buyers but usually it has been someone who has already been a problem or horrible. Not many blocked but there is the odd bad apple.

I once got a negative with the feedback "great item, I love it" ebay removed it straight away and the person who was in another country and new to ebay did apologise for the mistake. Gave me a fright when I saw that red dot though!

Because some sellers are dim and don't file Unpaid Item disputes instead. I haven't a clue why! It gets sellers back their fees, too.
