Does anything really sell at this time of year?

I was looking at the free listing email for tomorrow and thought it's too late to list summer stuff and too early to list winter stuff, and lots of potential bidders will be on holiday - so what actually sells at this time of year?
Autumn-y clothes?
Back to school type stuff?

I'm not sure but I've just sold some lovely conditioned kids clothes for peanuts :(

Dilly that's what I'm afraid of. Ebay has long since become a bit rubbish

I made around £400 in the last month. It can be done! Mostly clothes I've bought and never worn though. Have you seen confessions of a shopaholic? That would be me.

The benefit of free listing day is start the items at the minimum you would like and hope for better. If you don't sell you have them to put on again next time. I would say school type items might go ok so if you have any decent bags, shoes, trainers..maybe coats for children? It is a bit quiet though. Hope it picks up.
DD has been looking for a few clothing items to start college so teen clothing might sell.

I'm selling our old pokemon cards.

Not selling too badly but they'd sell better if they were all first edition shiny charizards worth £300+

That aside, it's steady in that I can shift them in bundles of 3 or 4 for £1 or more if they get more bids.

Nowhere near £400 a month though Blush

August is bad for most items.
I made £250 the other day.
But maybe it would have been £350 back in May. Can't know.
Sold something today that has been listed for about 8 months with no bids!!
School stuff sells well, kit bags, reception size clothing, lunchboxes.

Nothing goes well in the middle of the month as everyone's broke and waiting for payday.
