Buyer from Germany?

I listed 45 items of DDs clothing on ebay and noticed one particular buyer had bought of them, when I looked they are from Germany even though the listing says UK postage only.

I have charged 2.60 per item p+p (small parcel 2nd class) but most things have sold for 99p so am I going to be left out of pocket here? Will it be cheaper to send it out in one parcel? Probably be a medium parcel?

Havent had any contact from buyer yet but listings are stillongoing finishing tonight so they may bid for more..

Minimum postage for a small packet to Europe is £3.00 so you might be better sending them out in one parcel, but, you'd be better taking it down to the post office and getting it weighed first because some of the posting charges are ridiculous.

I got an custom order from America, took the items to the post office to be priced up, parcel weighed 650g, and with the dimensions of the parcel I was quoted £18 or £23 with tracking (luckily my customer agreed to pay it).

Thanks GemmaTeller will parcel it all up and see how much it will cost before sending.

They have bought seven seperate items each with 2.60 p+p so will have paid nearly eighteen pounds in postage (when they pay) so hopefully that will cover it, do I need to refund any difference if I am combining the postage?

no you need to send them a revised invoice first for them to pay - they won't want to pay the full amount and then get a refund I wouldn't have thought. and if you want to block foreign bidders you will need to change your settings in your account.

I dont even know how to make a revised invoice I only use the app, will have to get on the laptop and have a look.

Il parcel it up and see how much it will cost to send it first. Thanks Smile

I had the same worry, but the buyer turned out to be British forces stationed in Germany. The P&P to those addresses used to be the same as standard mail inside the UK. No idea if that still applies, what with the new Royal Mail price hikes!
