Combined Postage

I have been asked a couple of times if I combine postage. I have always replied to say I take full payment but will pack together and refund the difference when I get back from the post office. I have no idea how it works to do it any other way. So how does it work with regards to payment? Any help,would be appreciated.

when you send an invoice to the buyer i think you can amend the postage price there before sending it

Oh I see, so they'd know not to pay until I send an invoice?

If they pay before you can invoice then you refund them what you think is fair (follow the issue refund link and make sure it's a partial refund). Give them a note why. They will probably be in shock that you did such a thing.

I quite often do that anyway iijk I'd rather over estimate on postage and refund than underestimate and be out of pocket.
