I received an item yesterday that is damaged - it's a Monsoon dress that's missing quite a lot of sequins on the strap. It didn't have any defects in the listing, and it was expensive (£10 plus £4.50 P&P - actual postage was £2.30... grr...) so I was expecting an item in excellent condition.
I've contacted her to ask for a partial refund, as I wouldn't have bought it had I known it wasn't perfect! (it's for a wedding so it needs to be just right). She's refused and asked me to send it back - but 4yo DD has seen it, and loves it, and I could repair it if I can hunt down matching sequins - so what do I do? Let it go or take it up with eBay to get my partial refund?
