Has anyone had to don this as a seller? My buyer has informed me that they have made payment but I need to 'claim' the payment from PayPal? Have looked on PayPal website but can't see how you would do this?

wrong email address on listing? You will need to ask them what email address the payment was made to - then you will prob need to add that to your paypal a/c to accept the payment.

Earlier in the year I had a few problems like this. I made a payment as normal and it just would not process without the seller claiming it. I have had my paypal account for 10 years and it has never happened before. Paypal and ebay were useless, so I have no idea why this happened. Seller was really awkward about it and I have great feedback so was clearly not messing about. I think in the end I made a cash payment (ie non auction) but was fairly nervous about doing so. Why the seller would not claim the payment was beyond me. I kept communicating though so I had a full audit trail for ebay, paypal etc. Hope it works out for you.
