I've seen a bag in eBay that easily sells for about £50 2nd hand. It's at a BIN price of £10 with a £5.65 1st class p&p. the seller has been am eBay member since 2006 but has a 0 rating.

The price and 0 rating make me feel a bit suspicious, but as a buyer I should have protection by eBay and PayPal shouldn't I? What do you guys think?

Do u mean he has no feed back? If u use PayPal u r covered but it takes time to be reimbursed if u r conned.

Yeah, no feedback and no sales/buys I guess. Their name has (0) 0% after it.

A member for 7 years and no transactions? That is weird.

Hmm. I don't know if I would be brave enough. I know that PayPal/eBay should cover it, but that is v.v.strange.

I thought you had to buy a certain amount of things and get feedback before being allowed to sell? Is that not the case any more? Or did I just make it all up? Grin Grin

DH is like that (member for a decade but no transactions).
The protection for buyers is so strong I would be fine about it. Just a bit of inconvenience if it goes wrong. You can't lose.

I've had a look at their other items - all same brand bags, a couple new, some used but in good condition. Varying prices but the auction start prices reasonable, and the BIN prices are good and in some cases really good compared to what you might have to pay if you got into a bidding war.

I need another of these bags like I need a hole in the head, but the price is good. I should step away from eBay!

Are they photos of the actual bags or stock pics off the internet. I would think if the prices are too low they could be fakes.

If you buy and not as described you would prob be out of pocket returning to the seller - apart from that, no risk, you would get a refund if the item was not as described or didn't arrive.

They're of the actual bags and a couple of the new ones have the tags and plastic wrap on handles etc.

Hmm, I'll keep an eye on them and have a think.
