buyer chasing payment for item i won this morning

Won an auction at 8.30 this morning. Been at work all day and seller has sent a message saying 'when will payment be made'.
Just paid have a good mind to send one back chasing when item will be sent

seller has been pushy but I have a little sympathy for them. It's hard to plan getting to PO or when to wait in for a courier when you don't know when buyer will finally pay, Ebay is even piloting making everyone pay immediately on BIN auctions. Buyers are expected to pay in 2 days now.

i can understand paying immediately on a BIN, as you bid and you immediately know you've won it so i can't see the problem with paying there and then. On auctions i often bid on a few things but i can't be on the computer the second the auction ends. Most people work during the day so i think you should at least give them a chance to have got home. Will be interesting how long they take to post

well its still not showing at posted more than 24 hours after i paid which normally i wouldn't be bothered about but being as they chased payment less than 8 hours after winning feeling abit hmmmm, might send a message pointing out the fact i've paid
