Gah, really hacked off. Talk to me about non-payers .....

Sold item on Friday. Left it a day and no payment, so sent invoice. Left it another day & sent a polite message, saying the item was all packed up and ready to go, so could they please send payment. Still no payment today, so checked their ratings & discover that they have a huge history of non-payments.

So, it looks like I won't get paid. Given I've been using ebay for years now, I'm quite surprised this hasn't happened before. How long do I have to leave it before I go down the non-payer route & how does that work?

just open the non payer case - you can do it after 48 hours now - close 4 days later then you can relist or do 2nd chance offer, and don't be tempted to leave neg statement on their feedback.

it is against the rules, sellers can't leave a neg for a buyer, and you can't leave a neg feedback on a positive rating.

Ah, that explains why there are all these "positive" ratings, saying non-payment. Thank you, as always fergoose.
