Selling a car and Paypal payments

I'm helping a friend to sell a car and I had someone message me saying he wants to send a courier for it and pay. via Paypal.

I read on here that it is advisable to ask for cash on collection, which what my listing says.

The guy asked to email him as he doesn't check his eBay acc too often Hmm.

I will refuse him but fir the future is Paypal advisable for a car sale or even a bank transfer?

I think the advice is never to use PayPal for purchases like these as PayPal always favours the buyer. There are stories of people using PayPal, taking the car and then claiming it has a fault and getting their money back from PayPal automatically. A Bank Transfer is probably fine, I don't think they are reversible? Cash on collection would be my preference....

no it is a scam - never ever accept paypal for a collected item and never for a car, and never let a buyer arrange their own courier either

block the buyer who sent that message.

Cash on collection can transfer cash in the bank for safety of both parties,

or BACS which is generally irreversible then ring your bank then check money is really in your account and not pending occasionally takes 2 hours mostly immediate do not EVER EVER EVER do paypal for collection especially valuable one the standard is cashfor private car sales whether ebay or auto trader

How do you block someone?
