Why have ebay removed my listing?

I was selling a pair of shoes that I only wore a couple of times as they are slightly too small for me and I have just had a message to say they have been removed and not to re-list them Shock Angry .

I have sold the same size shoes before although it was a couple of years ago although the most recent pair were my mums so a different size but still is that a good enough reason?

I am actually really annoyed by this because I had watchers and bids!!

Maybe they're having a crack down on people selling second hand shoes to fetish types? eBay has lots of these sales and shoes if marketed right can go for lots of money. Maybe you'd inadvertently marketed it in such a way?

Canyou email and ask?

You need to stop modelling them in that thong Wink

Wow if I had I was doing well as there weren't any pictures of my feet etc. Just two ordinary photos one of the top and one of the bottom to show that they had hardly been worn.

It sounds as though the listing must have been reported as they said they don't check every listing just those they are told about.

Honestly I can't remember there being anything wrong with it so I will email them but I doubt I will get very far.

Grin

I'm intrigued now. Did they look skanky as hell and you emphasised how smelly they were?

whatshallwedo · 04/07/2013 23:43

Ha ha they were in really good condition near enough immaculate and I wrote that there was little wear to the soles as they had hardly been worn but I didn't try and make out they were brand new or anything.

My postage was fair I think it was 30p above the rm price so I can't imagine it was that.

It is silly how annoyed I still am about it, I tried to email ebay just now but I can't seem to get past the standard answers to the questions I haven't asked. I am tempted to get dp to list them and see what happens.

Ok have googled and it may have been because I said no refunds given but I have read it on loads of other people's which is why I put it.

Raaaahhhhh Angry

no refunds would not have made them end your listing

were they a well known brand?

lljkk · 05/07/2013 08:24

Give us a link, WhatShall.

whatshallwedo · 05/07/2013 09:48

Really? That was the only thing I could think of.

I can't link as it seems to have totally vanished although I haven't checked on a laptop only on my phone.

Yes they were a well known brand of flip flops/sandals but there are thousands of them on there.
