and according to her address she lives over 500 miles away!

I messaged her within 12 hours to ask about collection and no reply, what on Earth should I do?

How long shall I give her and how do I cancel the transaction and get a refund of my fees?

I am starting to regret selling stuff on Ebay, loads of headaches!

Don't read my story, then, it will put you off for good.
When did the auction end?

fergoose · 20/06/2013 20:11

if she has paid you need to refund and ask for cash on collection

and if they don't want it you need to send a cancellation request.

It was Tuesday night. Eek am scared to read your story now lljkk!

Thanks Fergoose will refund and ask for cash on collection but if she doesn't respond will I need to open another resolution case or is a cancellation request something different?

I am so baffled, I sold loads in the past with none of these problems :(

Is there a way to stop people with low feedback from bidding?

from the resolution centre you send a cancellation request.

AliBingo · 20/06/2013 20:26

Thanks Fergoose! I thought it said that you have to get the buyer's agreement for that so not sure what to do if they don't respond :(

if they don't respond it closes automatically and you get your fees back, but if they don't agree and refuse the request you won't get your FVF refunded.

For a slightly more positive spin, we had an almost identical situation a couple of years back. The buyer just turned out to be a bit clueless Hmm His friends had to hire a van and drive about 150 miles (300 miles return journey) to collect something that went for about £30. He came right in at the end of the auction, no word from him until several days later when he asked about shipping and I had to explain that it wouldn't be possible to post it...

Quite surprised he continued with the sale, but nonetheless, a kind of positive story for you there!
