Sold item sitting in post office because buyer hasn't gone to collect it.

It was delivered on the 7th, it's still sitting in the sorting office because they weren't in.

The buyer says you have to give a reference for re-delivery on the card they post I if you are out, which they don't have as apparently no card was left . I used Royal Mail second class recorded.

Where do I stand?

I've put them on my blocked buyer list.

ask them to go to the sorting office to collect it.
You could phone the sorting office yourself and explain that a card was not left and ask their advice.

I've told her what to do, considering she's got nearly 200 feedback she's surprisingly wet behind the ears re the postal system.

She says she's rearranged delivery now
