Item not arrived - how long to wait before contacting buyer?

So I won a frock recently which I hoped to wear to a party last week. It has not arrived, despite having been dispatched on 4 June.

I today contacted the buyer to say I'd not received it. They are 'amazed' that I've waited 14 days - I'd have thought that was standard - am I daft in waiting so long?

How long should one wait for items?

FWIW I'm not in the UK and ebaying in a foreign language so may have misunderstood the message but was just curious.

no you aren't daft - just patient!

I personally wouldn't wait that long, I would be getting too anxious. I recently emailed someone after 9 days, don't think I would wait longer.

well if not in UK 2 weeks is reasonable to wait most things arrive within europe within a week but russia romania etc take longer you have 45 days to raise a not arrived dispute
just ask seller what she is doing about it did she send signed for? can it be tracked

Just to update, I've had a full refund!

on all ebay listings there is a date range on the item listing stating when you should receive it, that's how long you should wait.
