If I am watching an item and am successful in winning it, can someone else in my family pay for me using their PayPal account?

Yes

BarnYardCow · 15/06/2013 13:31

Thank you, so as long as payment is made, the bidder can be different from the person who actually pays.

I think the rules might be that the item has to be sent tothe address of the Paypal sender, something to check on , anyway.

BarnYardCow · 15/06/2013 13:38

That's fine, just wondered if the bidders nickname and payers nickname had to be the same.

Our eBay acc is in my name but we nearly always use dp's PayPal but we're at the same address so don't know if that makes a difference

As lljkk says though to get full protection the seller will have to post to the address on the paypal account. You could ask the family member to add your address to their account before they pay so the item could be delivered to you though.

you can register upto 6 addresses with paypal and can change them
