How long do you wait until you contact a seller?

I bought an item just over a week ago now and paid immediately. I havent heard from seller and my item hasnt been marked as dispatched, although I know people dont always do this.

How long do you usually wait for items before getting in touch with the seller?

Am in the same situation - although it has actually taken me two weeks to contact the seller and say why no news. I'm now wondering how long I wait until I open a case. I think till Saturday.

What does the shipping on the item say?
I've been caught out before and thought something really late when actually the delivery terms stated up to 2 weeks.
I think some sellers send things out once every 10 days. As long as that's what their terms say though I don't think you can do much.
Saying that there's no harm in a friendly message.

It says usually dispatched within 2 days. Think il leave it a couple more days then send them a message.

Just been looking at their feedback though and it looks like they havent sold anything before all of their feedback is from sellers...

check order details it will give an estimated delivery date ie 7-9th june or whatever you can open a not received case the day after last expected day of delivery ie 10th june in above case

I have just had the same thing. Realised after a week or so that I hadn't received something I won...opened a case as it was after the estimated last delivery date...still no response from the seller. Imagine they have gone awol and I will get my ££ back. Irritating!

mine said dispatch in three days. Auction ended the Wednesday before half term, I paid straight away. Gave seller the benefit of the doubt over HT, then sent a message on the Wednesday after, saying it's been two weeks, is there a problem. Also had a look at seller's recent feedback - last two things sold haven't been received Opened an item not received case on Sunday, so will be closing that on Monday next (i.e. just less than 4 weeks from winning the auction)
