Best way to send a laptop

I'm selling a lap top for £450 on ebay.

Please could you advise me the best way to send it with insurance.

You welcome! But unfortunately it hasn't helped at all.

Perhaps I'll ask in the post office and see how much that will cost. Other people seem to be using Royal mail special delivery or parcel force.

royal mail special delivery next day before 1pm cover upto £500 make sure in large box with at least 5-10 cm of packing in every direction I would think 2 layers of bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts; foam is quite good too crunched up newspaper is not good enough, consider double boxing

just think if I drop parcel onto concrete from 5' in air would it survive if not you have not packed well enough
