Paypal pending - buyer says its unclaimed but no trace!

I have been selling on eBay for years now. On my sellers page, it says payment pending, but when I click on "view paypal transaction" it says the ID is invalid. There is no trace of it on my paypal transaction history.

However when I have looked there are a few pending payments - not for eBay sales, but for other purchases, not to the seller, but from paypal! From what I can see they appear to have gone through eventually. There are recent transactions that have gone through fine.

All paypal says is that pending payments are used for new or inexperienced sellers, which I wouldn't think applies to me, and that I should post the item out! I don't fancy doing that - any ideas?

wrong email address on listing - buyer will need to log into paypal, cancel the payment and you will need to give them the right email address to send money to

Thanks. In the end I had to contact paypal, get them to add the incorrect address to my account, and the money came through.
