Frustrated...The item I was bidding on has vanished!

I fear the seller has withdrawn the item as it was not going to achieve a price they had hoped for (I looked yesterday and I was the only bidder.) Surely this is against ebay rules. Is there anything that can be done?

Not against rules,sellers are allowed to advertise elsewhere and withdraw listing all the way up until the last 12 hours or so.

Sellers have so few rights, don't begrudge this one.

I hope this wasn't my item which I accidentally just deleted when checking on progress! I have re listed btw!

Happened to me once too with done spiral steel boning. I still mourn the loss. And possibly need to get out more.
