Dress arrived but stained!

Bought a dress from ebay which is lovely but has two small but visible stains on the front. These weren't mentioned in the description of the dress. Seller has offered a refund (minus postage) but I would prefer a partial refund to help cover the cleaning costs. I like the dress and probably would have still bid on it (albeit not as much!) had she mentioned the stains in the description. I don't want to send it back as this would cost me more money. Should I just swallow it and leave neg feedback or is it worth opening a dispute?

TIA

I think if you open a dispute you may end up having to return it.

Could you ask seller for a partial refund in order for you to get it cleaned?

I suggested that Penguin but she said no. I asked for £5 refund - about half what it would cost me to have it cleaned.

it is worth a dispute, ebay may give you a no fault refund, but they won't award a partial one.

Also, you are entitled to full refund including p&p, but you would have to pay to return it.

She's since come back and offered the £5 credit. I'm happy with that to be honest as I do like the dress. Thanks for your replies.
