how do you close a cash on collection sale?

I bought a large item locally, paid cash when I collected it.
This was a week ago, and nothing has happened to the status of the item on my e.bay account.
So should I message the seller and ask him to tick the despatched and paid etc boxes?
Or should I just leave it as it is?
Cos at the moment it just looks as if the item was sold, but not paid for or anything, and I'm a bit concerned that e.bay might think I'm a bad payer?

you can mark as paid then delete from your bought items.
