2 items arrived this week both not as described

Have managed to message both sellers who have sent really rude messages back.

One wants me to sent item back and pay the £7.60 return postage - after claiming it was broken whilst being shipped but broken bit wasn't in packaging.

Other item huge 10cm rip that seller claims was missed when checking over the item

Can I open cases although the sellers are trying to sort it

You'll have to pay the return postage anyhow if it's a private seller.

I wouldn't open a case - that's unfair, and it will show on the records.

Ask them for a refund when you have made sure the items arrived back with them.

I disagree - rude replies from sellers and I would open a case. A good seller will pay return costs, but you can't force them too. Try returning My Hermes or Collect + - often cheaper that way
