This is a strange question and I'm not complaining but I'm flumoxed as to why my maternity tankini is being so keenly bid on. I'm even starting to think that someone with less than meaningful intentions is wanting to buy it!

Most maternity tankinis or swimming costumes go for £5-6. I stuck mine on with a quick iPhone picture at 99p and its now at £19with a few days to go.... Is this just the luck of ebay or should I be concerned?!

You didn't describe it as 'well worn' did you? Grin

'well worn'
why?
does underwear described as 'well worn' sells for lots of money on ebay?

Less common sizes do better. Or just luck that two bidders both want it.

Lulabel27 · 08/04/2013 00:45

Ooh I did put in the title "worn for one week" - I wonder if that has caught people searching for "worn".... Oh dear.. I suppose it doesn't matter at the end of day as long as they pay? Very weird though!!

And it's size 14 so not unusual.

I doubt it's anything sinister. I was desperate for a tankini as I wanted a water birth but was covered in stretch marks I'd rather keep hidden. I couldn't find one under forty quid and very few shops had stock anyway.

Don't you take it off for the birth though? Sorry, not that clued up on water births or ebay!
