Hi all

I am selling a large item on eBay with a reserve of £150.

Bidding is currently at £102. One of the bidders has asked what my reserve is.

Any reason not to tell him?

Yes, it might be all you get. If you want more, keep it quiet, at least until the auction has run its course.

I say if you are prepared to let it go for £150- which I assume you are- then tell him. You might lose him otherwise.

Well, with only half an hour to go there was no more bidding and I decided to tell him my reserve.

He ended up winning the item by paying £150. To be honest I'm delighted with that price and don't think it was really worth any more.

Thanks for your advice
