Am new to selling and have been trying since the last free listing to get some items listed but I cannot upload photographs.

I have tried on both the simple and advanced forms, I have cleared my cookies, made sure that the photos aren't too big and are of a sufficient jpeg quality, turned off firewalls, pop up blockers and turned any security settings on my laptop off, but still they won't upload.

On the advanced form (where you can rotate/crop etc.) it starts to upload, and then changes to upload failed. On the basic form, it just says uploading and then stays like that until I turn the computer off (over an hour the other day!)

Anybody got any ideas of what I might be doing wrong or what I can do to get them to upload??

Using IE9, which browser do you suggest?

Try Firefox

I had major issues trying to upload photos to ebay via my computer so I now take photos via my smart phone and upload to ebay via my ebay mobile phone app. Really simple and really quick.

I use the advanced form and I always have problems unless I have clicked on the "standard tab" (if I remember rightly). This tab is not the one selected by default. I use Firefox on MacOS 10.7.

Thanks Thanks

I'll try firefox tonight. I did wonder if it would be easier with my phone as well, may try that next time I take photos.
