Help, what do I post these items in??

I need to post the following:

A coat

A large handbag

As a heavy handbag

How would you package them? I want them to be secure but not expensive. I'm wondering if I should put the heavy handbag in a box possibly?

Also my printer isnt working so is it ok to just handwrite the address etc?

Any other tips to make the postage cheap, but secure and presentable?

How much did you sell them for? Makes a difference to quality of packaging.

My gut feeling is double thick supersize carriers for the coat, large jiffy bag for small handbag, and either a box or double thick plastic carrier bags for the large handbag.

But if they sold for like £100 each then I'd get tissue paper & cardboard boxes out.

and send with proof of delivery if pricey - myhermes or collect plus can work out much cheaper than royal mail.

Actually, if they are worth £100-ish then RM Special Delivery may be cheapest, it would be for me.
