"Insufficient Funds" in Paypal

I buy 3 or 4 things on EBay a week, and have PayPal linked to my bank account.

I've just tried to pay and it says I have insufficient funds and to try again later. There's plenty of money in my bank account.

Anyone had this before? any ideas?

are the bank details up to date?

Yes, I've had a google now and it's a common error. But it still could be either PayPal or the bank stopping the transaction

I've emailed my bank and hopefully they will respond tomorrow (online banking)
