Collection only charges

I've won an auction on eBay and its collection only. The seller, as so many do, had a price against postage even though it was collection only (very heavy). I want to collect but the invoice the seller has sent includes £12 for collection. They are a private seller.

Is this within eBay rules?

Its few avoidance I think contact Ebay

Ask seller if it's a mistake in the invoice as collection is normally free. If they truly want to charge you £12 to pickup something - then contact eBay as it sounds like they just want to make some extra money out of the sale (fee avoidance).

They can charge for collection sadly - ethically I think it is wrong but there you go.

I most certainly would not pay a penny to collect an item.

I asked the seller on the invoice request and got the full collection charge on invoice, i've asked again by email and they've apologised it was a mistake.

Thank you for giving me the confidence to ask them again.
