I have had an email from a buyer 48 days after I posted an item to say it hasn't arrived. It's international - Europe, but low in price so not worth any signed for postage.

When I checked her sale I noted that on the day she emailed me, she got a chase up from Ebay for Feedback (why can't we turn this OFF???). My gut feeling is she's lying but I can't prove it.

She is over the 45 days for a buyer protection case (will I get my fees back if I cancel?) so I could ignore and block her, or I can pay up and chalk it down to experience. WWYD?

how much is it?

I dunno, morally yes you should refund and claim for the lost item. ebay won't refund her though now though. They can of course still leave horrid feedback & stars - but then you could refund in full & they may still do that.

If I was confident she was being honest I wouldn't hesitate, or even mostly confident, but it's due to all the Ebay "lost" claims that RM have reduced their compensation level.

no I know what you mean. It seems very odd they waited all this time to contact you.

What is their feedback left for others like?

MrsZoidberg · 11/03/2013 13:23

She mostly leaves a very non-committal feedback - "OK". A couple of very good feedback comments. One large seller left a message offering her 10% off next order after receiving "ok" feedback, wonder why they felt the need to?

Now feel she's more dodgy since looking at that.

As I now use business post rates on RM - I can't claim for lost international parcels.
