What to do?

Had an item of furniture that sold really well. Was supposed to be local pickup. But guy lives in England and sounds like he owns a business so is waiting for a man with a van to be up this way? He asked if wanted cash or paypal. I said paypal and he duly paid. He asked if could pick it up between 8-4 pm either last week or week before. Anyway, been about 10 days since he has replied to any of my texts. Doesn't bother me when he finally picks it up but I find it odd he is not replying to my texts or messages via eBay? What would u do? As say, he's paid for the item?

ok well first of all you need to refund his paypal - you should only do cash on collection items, never ever paypal.

If he doesn't pick up then you will need to send a cancellation request and hope he accepts it otherwise you will be landed with fvf to pay. Once that is done you can relist or do a second chance offer.

Text him nicely saying you think best to cancel, is that okay?.

Get his agreement if you possibly can before going thru the Ebay Request to Cancel procedure, because you can only ask to request once. And if he rejects Cancel request then you have lost FVF for sure.
