Can someone explain eBay fees/charges to me?!

Right- my sister (who has a history of conning money out of me!) accidentally used my eBay account to sell some clothes. I didn't see the listings, but think they had a variety of multiple pics/ BIN option etc, so I want to know how much I'm going to be charged!

Item A went for £8 (plus £2.70 postage) so £10.70 total. £10.14 is showing in my PayPal account.

Item B went for £6.80 (plus £2.70 postage) so £9.50 total. £8.98 is showing in my Paypal account.

Is the difference in the missing money just PayPal charges? Will eBay invoice me to cover the cost of photos/BIN etc? Or does the missing eBay money (56p item A & 52p item B) cover the BIN, photos & PayPal fees BUT not cover the "final value fee".

She actually sold 8 items and I want to know how to work out on whether I need to keep any of it to cover an invoice that might arrive!!

paypal charge 3.4% plus 20p so that explains paypal fees

at the end of the month you will be invoiced by ebay for other fees

10% of sale price of item so for examples 80p and 68p,
if they did not start at 99p there will be listing fees 15p upto 4.99 25p upto 14.99

there is no extra charge for photos in clothing category so that will be 0 unless selected super sized pics

BIN is a straight 40p whether it sells or not

so you need to retain 10% as above
40p for every BIN whether sold or not
and then check if she started at 99p that is it 0p; if she started at something under £5 it will be 15p per item

Ok great- so the money that has been taken so far is solely PayPal fees? That's clearer! Wasn't sure whether any eBay fees had been taken so far- but now I know everything else will be be invoiced, that's easier to work out! Thanks so much!
