Cancelling a transaction / second chance offer

I sold a pair of shoes Sunday evening And the winning bidder messages to say she had misread the listing and wanted to cancel the transaction (item contained a fault).

DH 'helpfully' dealt with it by immediately offering the next bidder a second chance offer which has been accepted. But he did this before cancelling with the first winner in the resuloution centre.

The shoes are obviously still showing up on her list and are marked as need to pay.
But I can't open a case now to cancel because they're not showing up on my selling summery With her eBay ID, just the mans ID who has the second chance ofer.

She's now sending cross emails because i agreed for it to be cancelled and haven't done, and she's worried about getting a non paying mark against her.

Help! How do I fix it?! I hope this makes sense

you should have cancelled the transaction with her first before doing a second chance offer - now you risk two buyers and only one item

you can still cancel the transaction - go to the resolution centre and do it there. She can only get a non paying mark against her if you file a non paying bidder report against her.

When I go to the resolution centre it only shows the item with the buyers details of the second chance offer?

I wondering if DP has deleted it from my eBay summery?

I would always cancel first, DP was being 'helpful' and went straight in with the second chance offer

ok - well he can't have cancelled the transaction if the buyer still has it in their items.
