When would you expect an item to arrive?

Just canvassing opinions! Dh bought something which was listed as being dispatched 1st class and with a correspondingly quick estimated delivery time (couple of days or so). He then had an email to say that it now wouldn't be posted, let alone delivered, for almost another 2 weeks - no explanation or apology. Does this seem odd?

He always pays in full immediately so he's now somewhat that the item (which he needs for work) is still on sale and still being offered in the listing with the same prompt delivery. Or is he BU?

yep that is rubbish. The seller must dispatch within 7 days, but if their listing states prompt dispatch that must be expected

I would ask for a refund and shop elsewhere.

well the seller will have been told to post within 7 days - it will be on the paypal payment email. So there is no excuse. Plus the expected dispatch time on the listing.

Some sellers really do act like they are doing you a favour sending your item. Is ridiculous and lazy.
