How do I amend an invoice?

I sold an item for £130 advertised as collection only but happy to post. When the auction ended I emailed the winner and asked if they would like to collect it, or for me to send via Parcel Force. Today they have paid just the £130 (even though I expressly said I would not accept PayPal for a collection only item).

I have contacted them asking them to send an additional fee for P&P but how do I amend the invoice to include the P&P in the total?

well if they are collecting refund and ask for cash

if they want it sending they can just send money via paypal, or you can refund them and send an invoice for the full correct amount.

Fergoose, would OP still have paypal or Ebay seller protection if she asked the buyer to send additional payment to her using Paypal, to seller's email address? I think I have done that before.

So purchase price via Ebay check out, but P+P done separately, is that only a possible disadvantage to the buyer if they later demand full refund?

the buyer would need to open 2 cases wouldn't they so prob refund and get them to pay in full on one payment.

I wonder if this buyer is expecting to have it posted out for free.

Fergoose, that's what I think. They have included an address which I assume is where they want the item to be sent. They haven't responded to my request for P&P though.

I don't feel right about this. I have a buyer's name, an email address for Paypal with an entirely different name and the buyer wants me to send it to yet another named person at a different address (in the UK). He still hasn't come back to me about what he wants to do. BTW he has 100 per cent feedback.

OK I have issued the refund and PayPal has sent it minus a fee amount of £4.52. This is getting tedious.

Got there in the end. Managed to issue an invoice including the P&P charges. Once he's paid I will send it Parcel Force signed for. As long as I get a signature on delivery and it's insured I should be covered shouldn't I?

I sent an expensive item yesterday, the paypal note to me said I get payer protection but

Paypal has kept £4.52 of the sale price?! That can't be right, should only be 20p, no??

PigletJ is right: only send the item to the address on the Paypal payment. That's the only way you get any seller protection.
