Feedback % keeps changing

It seems that whenever I log into eBay, my feedback % is different to the time before. Any idea why? Noone has left me feedback recently.

The feedback percentage is based on the last year's transactions. Presumably, feedback that is just over a year old is getting dropped from the percentage every time you log in. Is it getting better or worse? Grin

It got better, now getting worse! I have one neg from a loon and 60ish positives this year, but feedback is 97.5. Maybe I need to get shopping to build it up Xmas Grin.

Your explanation makes sense though, thanks! Sold a lot last dec/jan so it looks like it's going to get a lot worse!!

Yep! Lots of shopping is definitely the way to go! Grin

I lost my DSR ratings earlier in the year as they dropped below 10. I hadn't sold anything for a large chunk of the year before - I think I sold Jan/Feb then got pissed off after some hassles and had a break until October. As only a percentage of the people that leave feedback actually bother to fill in the DSR ratings they eventually disappeared. However, I have been selling steadily all through this year so shouldn't have that problem next year!

If I was looking to buy something from a seller with 97.5% feedback I would look at the feedback itself. If it is one odd negative out of 60ish it wouldn't bother me.

I have a load of stuff put aside to eBay in the new year - will wait til the negative drops off (may, I think).
