I bidded and won an item on ebay. Paid straight away.

The seller has just contacted me to say that instead of £4 postage it will be £10 to post (rollerskates).

Is she allowed to do this? I would never of brought the item with postage that high as I could buy the item new for that amount!

Am so upset as it was my sons christmas present Xmas Sad

No, that is not allowed. She will have to absorb the extra postage. It's her own fault for not having worked it out properly.

how much did you pay in total (nosey cos i have a pair to sell) Smile

myBOYSareBONKERS · 14/12/2012 21:04

I paid £5.50 plus £4 p&p. She has emailed me to say she wont be sending me them as she will loose out.

I want to take this further as it is the principle of it all!!

She can send upto 5kg uk mainland for £4.99 with Hermes that's door to door, its less if she has access to a parcel shop. £10 is a lot and te hike s out of order.

myBOYSareBONKERS · 14/12/2012 21:09

how do I report her?

She really shouldn't have refunded you.

Really hope eBay back you on this and you get them in time for Christmas.

fergoose · 14/12/2012 22:22

you just report as a non performing seller and leave appropriate feedback and stars - nothing else you can do sadly. ebay can't force her to sell them to you.

myBOYSareBONKERS · 15/12/2012 06:54

That's what I have done.

Ebay have took action against her as well.

Am just so upset as it was a Christmas present for my son and now he will probably have to go without that particular gift.

She had another pair of skates on there - wonder if she did the same thing with them
