Buyer says their payment win't work.

What could be the reason? Just got an e mail saying they had tried to pay via paypal but payment wouldn't go through. Non of my details have changed and there has never been a problem before.

I've had paypal do this repeatedly to me. No reason whatsoever and eventually it sorts itself out (usually within 24hours) also I've had it say payment hasn't happened and I've ended up paying people 3times! Hope it sorts itself out soon!

ask them to clear their cookies and try again. Also - you have got the right email address on the listing?

Thanks for replies. Will suggest that Fergoose, and yes the e mail address is correct. Buyer has just messaged to ask for my e mail address so they can send the payment 'the long way round'. Any idea how this works. Have never encountered payment problems before!

they want to log into paypal and just send you money direct to your email address I guess?

I had this recently. Bank transfer wouldn't work either. She said it was because shecwas in the Channel Islands, but she ended up sending neva cheque and her bank is the same branch ads my mum, who transfers me money successfully all the time! Anyway, I gave her the benefit of the doubt because it was only 99p, and her first eBay purchase, and it was fine in the end.
