Buyer not paid yet - what's the etiquette?

I sold a baby Boden jumper at auction on Sunday and buyer has not mass contact yet so it's been three days. Shall I send an email to see of he/she needs more time to pay or shall I wait to open an unpaid item case tomorrow? What is a reasonable time for a seller to wait? Obviously I don't want to sound too pushy because she will then leave me feedback...

Send an invoice! That reminds the buyer. Also, sometimes new buyers think that they have to wait for an invoice before they can pay...

Don't think he/she is a new buyer though. Over 300 feedback! Thing is, she bid way too high and the cost of the jumper + p&p is what you would pay Boden for a new one with 20% discount code! See where I'm coming from?
The trouble with EBay is that it's so weighed in favour of the buyer. Her feedback tells me nothing as to whether she's a non payer. If I push too much I might get a negative or neutral just for asking Sad
I actually quite loathe eBay. I only use it because it's the only way to make some money of stuff which is clattering my house.

I just open the unpaid case on day 4, then if they don't pay close 4 days later. No point emailing - if they aren't going to pay they're not going to.

don't email just send invoice on day 3 and open case on day 4/5 as a private seller as business seller I do wait a bit longer, last weekend was not a bank holiday or anything, if you open case they still have 4 days to pay and provided they pay it is not marked on their account or anything so it effectively gives them 8 days
