Relisting

I've just sold a top and the bidder who won it on the last minute is in France, I've just checked her details.
I don't have time to mess around checking postage costs, so my question is as I listed it on a free w/end will I be charged anything if they don't pay?
Was just to relist tonight, what do u think?

You need to cancel the sale to the French lady in order to get the final valuation fees refunded.

You can only try to cancel ONCE and the buyer may refuse which means you won't get FVF back. So best tactic is to tell buyer you can't post to France and will be cancelling. Before you can cancel, You have to refund any payment she already paid, Paypal will keep 20p of the refund. So if she hasn't paid yet then tell her sharpish not to.

If she hasn't paid & she allows you to cancel you won't be charged anything (probably). But even if she agrees to cancel, she can still leave you negative feedback.

So it's a bit of a mess if buyer is at all awkward. Try to avoid offering international postage in future, I guess. Might be easier to post to France after all.

Thanks for that, I didn't think I allowed outside of uk bidders but I'll have to check.
I wish they would check first. I have messaged her so ill see how the land lies. Didn't think about possibility of negative feedback Angry
