I always say I'm happy to accept returns if items don't fit... I sold a pair of shoes over a month ago now and the buyer has just contacted me to say that one of the shoes doesn't fit and could she return them to me - this is after giving positive feedback saying she was very happy with them. Problem is I've already spent the money she paid for them as it was part of my Christmas present fund. I'm fairly sure a shop wouldn't return an item after 28 days... I'm far too much of a pleaser and don't want to upset her, but I also would have to scrabble together to find the money to refund her which isn't particularly fair on me.
