Problem making payment.

We have found something we want for dd for Christmas on Ebay, it is on Buy It Now. I clicked Buy It Now and got as far as the payment. Then it said problem with payment. Retry checkout.

There is no money in the Paypal account but plenty on the card registered to Paypal.

Shouldn't it just take the money from the credit card directly or do I have to top up the account?

I'm sure I've done it by taking the payment directly from the card before .

no you don't need to top up - try clearing your cookies and paying again?
