How to claim payment

I have sold an item on ebay, the buyer has paid me, the payment shows up on my ebay 'selling' page, but it hasn't transfered to my paypal account - which is how they have paid. How do I get the money to my account? I have bought items from ebay since and payment for that item wasn't taken off the money I was paid IYSWIM!

you need to ask the buyer which email address was the payment was sent to - then you will need to add that email address to your paypal account

Check you have the correct email address on the listing. If there is a mistake the payment will fail.

I can't see the email address on the listing anywhere, when I click on 'view paypal transaction' it takes me to my paypal account but the transaction doesn't show up there. It is the right email address in my paypal account but I can't find where the email address is on my ebay page.

well normally you would add that email address to your paypal but you can't if it is someone else's email address

Either ask him for the money, or tell your buyer to file not received with paypal so they can get their money back.

Thanks for your help, I have emailed the buyer and asked them to cancel the payment and resend it to me
