My buyer hasn't received the item so I have agreed to refund tomorrow if it doesn't turn up.
I told him to open a dispute in the resolution centre, but now that he has the funds are "placed" and therefore not available to refund? So how can I refund it?
I sent a message to paypal asking the question. They have sent a standard reply which doesn't answer me at all - just talks about me escalating it to a dispute, which is the last thing I want to do.
Can anyone advise. I find paypal so un-user friendly. I don't think I will bother using ebay again - more trouble than it is worth.
