Paying for high value item

I've just won DD a 3DS Bundle which will be her main xmas present.

I haven't enough in paypal to cover it so normally it would pull from my bank account BUT is there any way I can pay via Paypal but with my credit card instead? (I think it's linked to the account)

Would this give me any extra security should anything go wrong with the transaction?

you have paypal buyer protection and 45 days to claim so it doesn't really make a difference

you can choose the funding source when you pay by paypal, and you can choose your card there.
