Dim paypal refund question

I have told a buyerI will refund 3.20 for combined postage but when I have put through a refund for that amount it shows as only refunding 3.09.Should I have refunded more in order to take papal fees into account?

that's weird, paypal doesn't take fees from buyer when refunding, are you sure how much buyer got? I think maybe you refunded £3.09 & paypal refunded out of their pot 11p, so buyer still gets £3.20.

Oh right, that makes more sense! It only shows me having refunded 3.09 net, so I'm sure the buyer will let me know if that's the case. Thanks
