Have the rules changed on ending an auction to do a BIN when there is already a bid?

Hi, am selling some boots and put them on at 99p, someone has bid so there is currently a 99p bid.

I didn't do a BIN but someone messaged to ask me what my BIN price would be.

I just want to get rid of these boots and cover the cost of what I paid for them so that I can buy some more, so am tempted to give them a BIN price.

But I seem to remember from when I last sold a few years ago, that once a bid had been placed, you can't cancel the auction and do a BIN? Is that still the case?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

you remember correctly. You would have to remove the listing and re-list it

have they changed that too? I thought you could remove a bid and add a buy it now, as long as there are more than 12 hours left to run?
