eBay found in my favour...what to do with unwanted item?

I've just escalated my 'item not as described' case and within a couple of minutes eBay responded, have found in my favour and already refunded payment. I still have the item...what do I do with it now? Should I return to the seller?

nope - charity or bin if you don't want it. If they wanted you to return it they would have told you to before refunding. I guess they have given no fault refund so eBay have given you the refund and the seller has kept the money.

So does the refund come from ebay's own funds? I was worried I'd get unpleasant messages from the seller because the money would have been taken from their paypal account.

yes a no fault refund is from eBay.
