buying tesco vouchers ebay for youth hostel - can it be done?

Hello - I dont seem to have as many tesco clubcard vouchers this year - have been shopping around a bit more. However - I have used them in the past to stay at Youth Hostels and they were great - especially as the family rooms in YHA seem to have shot up in price. There are some clubcard vouchers for sale on ebay with the sellers saying they will order the deal for the buyer. However - is this doable?? (is that even a word? - doesn't look right to me)

Just thinking if they order them in their name then does the booking have to be in their name too and what happens if I did this and turned up and they asked for ID - I think I am talking myself out of this - but just wanted to see if anybody got any experience of this. thanks

I thought they were non transferable, I could be wrong though. I guess it depends how much it is. If you do go ahead then find out after more than 45 days after purchase that you can't use them, then you are too late to file a dispute with eBay.

I think they are non-tranferable too, but it depends on how you receive the offers - i use my mum's tesco vouchers for redspottedhanky by having an account that uses her e-mail address so she gets the confirmations etc, but because i know the details i can still collect the tickets.

It could be a goer if you could somehow work round it that way, otherwise i'm not sure i'd risk it.
