Crap, what happens if an item doesnt arrive??

I posted an item on Thursday, 1st class and the buyer has just emailed to say it hasnt arrived.

Do I have to refund him?? I have the receipt here that proves I sent it.

yes you have to refund in full, but it is only 2 working days so far, it isn't considered lost until 15 working days have passed. don't refund now anyway - just wait. If you do end up refunding use your proof of post to claim from royal mail for the lost item.

Im gutted, I have been selling for years and now I need the money. Typical!

I will give it until Friday, if nothing arrives and the post office cant help I will refund him.
