Need to change credit card details on paypal but it won't let me as transaction is going through.

As per the title, I need to change card details on paypal, but a transaction is going through so it won't let me. I am worried that the payment will not be made (and that this may get me negative feedback) and as it will still be pending, I will not be able to change details.

Can anyone please advise what I do about this?

can you add it as an additional card and then make it primary later?

if the transaction does not complete, you can cancel it and start again

you can add a new card, and makre it the default, before removing the old one. You can have several cards on a paypal account if you want.

sometimes when they do not complete it is because the account has not been fully set up or there is something wrong with the card.

You can't get negative feedback for not paying.

You may have to wait until the transaction is complete before you add the new card - I doubt the payment will fail to be honest, it isn't as if you have removed the old card is it?

it is unusual for a transaction to go into pending. how long has it been? is there a message?
